Enter the “Blanco County Runs on Water” Community Art Contest

Local partners host new poster contest highlighting Blanco County water

Blanco County, Texas — Located in the heart of the Hill Country, Blanco County is known for beautiful creeks, refreshing swimming holes, and two flowing rivers. These natural treasures not only define our community’s charm but also underscore its vulnerability. As water is essential to the growth and vitality of Blanco County, raising awareness about the need to value and protect this precious resource is more important than ever.

The “Blanco County Runs on Water” art contest invites local artists, citizens, and creative people of all ages to participate in a county-wide campaign aimed at celebrating and safeguarding Blanco County water. Our hope is that artistic minds interpret their own vision of the Blanco County water story that highlights the beauty and charm of our community.

Winning designs will be prominently featured on county-wide posters. Entries for the art contest must be submitted from September 1 through October 15, 2024. Please see additional details below.
