Please join us in congratulating our new Chief of Police, Chief Jerry Thornhill.
Folks in our community will recognize Chief Thornhill as a dedicated law enforcement professional who has served in the Blanco Police Department since 2011.
Through his tireless service, he has earned the trust and respect of our community. He’s also continued to advance his formal education in Criminal Justice, earning two college degrees in 2023 with highest honors. We are excited at the positive, common-sense leadership to the Blanco PD.
ALSO, join us in welcoming new Police Officer Kaley Gassmann, who was sworn in last night at the City Council meeting. She is a long-time police professional who currently lives in Wimberley and is looking forward to serving the Blanco community.
